Plant Crap

All right. Listen to this.
There's this class that we have, "Old Croatian Literature II", and we have to do a term paper.
Each of us got a comedy to work on. Mine happens to be a 17th century comedy written by an anonimous author. Oh joy.
Anyway, we have to write a paper and present it to the rest of the class. Every time, the three of us will be presenting their stuff. Of course, I am in the first three. Stupid alphabet! LYNCH alphabet! *note to self: quickly marry someone with last name beginning with Z*
But listen to this: we have to keep track of all of the plants and animals that appear in the text, count them and provide quotations in which they appear. That's stupid and meaningless but here's the tricky part: those comedies are written in archaic Croatian (and let me tell you, it's basically impossible for me to understand it) so most of the times you can't even tell if something is a plant because none of the plants are called as they are today.
Can you say LYNCH UNI! ??!

24

24 tonight!
TONIGHT!
2 episodes!
TONIGHT!

Edit: After watching it
Oh man oh man oh man! Jack Bauer rocks! No one kicks ass like Jack Bauer! I hate Audrey Raines, hated her in the 4th season and I hate her now! I hate Logan too, hated him in the 4th season and I hate him now! And that Derek kid is quite annoying... And I've only seen two episodes so far.
But I looove JACK BAUER! Can't wait for tomorrow!
JACK BAUER!!!!!!

Past Life

I actually thought of something I was supposed to write about yesterday but I forgot it again till today...
Well, if I happen to remember, I'll let you know.

I checked who I was in the past life. STOP LAUGHING! I don't believe that crap either but my sis thought it would be fun. Apparently I was an army officer in Finland, had no glorious career or anything, got married twice and had 5 kids. At least it didn't say I was Cleopatra or Napoleon because if all the people who were them in past lives would get together I bet they would fill up Wembley.

So I'm reading Aristotle's Poetics. It's boring but I seriouisly lack the knowledge. How come I never read it before?

Belinda, I loved your collage of our pictures. You were bored, weren't you? As am I right now.

I was watching Everwood, it's intense. Well, as much as it can be. Ephram said he's still in love with Amy just when Reid finally kissed her, Bright was about to break up with Hannah but changed his mind... I'm pathetic. I have got to get me some kind of a life. Anything will do. Any suggestions?

That's all.

Uni Blabber

This is actually so sad to be this excited about the things that go on at the Uni but what can I do, I have no personal life.
So... We had the 1st "American Culture" class today and, just like last semester with "British Culture", we are supposed to make a group oral presentation (Remember the one-guy-group I wrote about earlier? Well, this is the same shit.). So the girls and I have come up with a concept of "VS". Oh wait... I didn't even tell you what the subject is! See? EXCITED! It's "Famous Americans". The best thing is that we can pick anyone we want so this is what we're gonna do (these are just preliminary ideas, nothing's written in the stone yet): Marilyn Monroe vs. Anna Nicole Smith, Ella Fitzgerald vs. Britney Spears, Frank Sinatra vs. Marilyn Manson, Edgar Allan Poe vs. Danielle Steele, Oprah Winfrey vs. Jerry Springer, Hilary Clinton vs. Monica Lewinsky, George Washington vs. George W. Bush... Do you get the point? We think it's gonna be great!

Then we had one of our Croatian classes and the guy that's teaching it is so cool! He's born in the same year as me (at least he's older!), and he's tiny and has these funny side-burns that make him look somewhat like a leprechaun but he's so nice and hyperactive and funny even and it was a great class and I think we have a collective crush on the guy! So the three of us was the last ones in the classroom and he asked us if it was ok (this is his first time teaching!) when the real question was WAS IT AS GOOD FOR HIM AS IT WAS FOR US! And he told us we were the best group of all 4 that there are. DUH! After the class we were free for about two hours and we kept mentioning him ALL THE TIME! It's insane. We're insane. So he said he'd never keep us the entire hour and a half but I'm pretty sure no one would object! We can't wait for the next class.
(Am I too excited about this?)

And it seems that they are finally gonna sort out the ECTS points mess by giving us an elective course on children literature or something that we would just listen to the lectures and take no exams and get the lacking points. Finally. *looks forward to getting rid of "Shakespeare"*

Bored Blabber

Hmm... I'm just bored so I thought I could write for a while because I just love producing sentences even if they mean shit.
I had only one class today. It was quite funny because it seems to be the exact same stuff we had in the 1st semester only then it was in Croatian and now it's in English. Girls are joking about it, they say all we have to do is learn how to say everything we learned before in English and that's it.
Tomorrow I'll know if I'm gonna be getting rid of the Shakespeare. God, I hope so! I can't do an oral presentation on Shakespeare! Most of the time I have no idea what I've just read. And you know what? Shakespeare's comedies - NOT FUNNY! (I know, I know... They're not meant to be funny anyway, I'm not that stupid.)
I saw a high school friend yesterday, we had coffee and did some catching up. I told her all about my lovely little obsession (it's ok, she's familiar with my obsession-history). I must sound like a real lunatic when I speak of Wentworth. First of all, I get all excited. I can't stop smiling. Seriously, the grin does not leave my face for a second when I talk about him. And I tend to raise my voice (I speak pretty loudly anyway so imagine me talking about the wonder of Went). I suppose I talk about him in a way that parents talk about their children or people who are in love talk about people they are in love with. You see the problem, right? I'M TALKING ABOUT A GUY FROM TV!!! Anyway, I said his name and she says: Oh, that pretty guy from... and I go: Yeah, the one we saw together for the first time. You see, she's the friend I lived and worked with on Krk and she's the one who walked into the room as I have just discovered the hotness that is Wentworth Miller and she's the one who asked: Who is that? and the one I answered: I don't know but he's damn fine! to. So does that make her the godmother of this obsession of mine? (If so, she's definitely gonna be invited to our wedding! *grinning*)
